11+ is the main point of entry and there are three forms in Year 7. Candidates are asked to sit 11+ exams in English and Maths in January of Year 6 (age 10-11). They will be interviewed by the Principal in the autumn term and will also need to provide a reference from their current school. For the interview, girls are asked to bring with them an item of interest, something that they are proud of and that can start a discussion.
Queen's College is in Group 1 of the North London Independent Girls' Schools Consortium. This exam takes place in the first two weeks of January and differs from the ISEB 11+ Common Entrance. The consortium creates its own papers.
